I had some unfinished business to take care of at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The first time I went there years ago, I got pictures with the big Stegosaurus and one of the babies. (Which you can see in earlier entries on this site.) At the time I was there, the museum was about to close and in my haste I forgot to chronicle the second Stegosaurus baby at the front of the display. (Just as cute as the first one in my opinion.) I’m glad I got to see this display again, because it really is one of the very best out there. I saw it near the beginning of this Dinosaur Quest, and I don’t think I fully realized how rare and special it is. All the fossils in this display are posed perfectly to make them seem like living animals experiencing an intense moment in their lives. This set-up is definitely in the Top 5 overall. Way to go, Denver!
