The Stegosaurus at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History is a great one, and I was so happy to check it off my list. I’d first seen pictures of it years ago when a cast of it was loaned to an exhibit in Chiba, Japan. I was pretty relieved to find out the real deal was in Albuquerque because I live in LA and that was about 5000 miles closer! That said, I will have to eventually go to Japan and South Korea if I want to complete this Stegosaurus quest. It will be worth it, but for now I’m happy to just check out the closer stuff! The display itself is unique in its length and positioning. The head is turned to the side which gives a dynamic feel to the presentation. It also has a nice white coloring that reminds me of the Minnesota specimen. Fantastic!
