Just after Christmas, I had a few days of freedom before I was needed back in Los Angeles for work. I decided to take a road trip to South Dakota to see some cool dinosaur stuff, as well as Mount Rushmore, which is obviously a big part of America’s history. (Also, if you’ve ever played “Sam and Max Hit The Road,” it’s the place where Sam and Max famously “bungee jumped from the warm, inviting nostrils of their favorite former presidents!”) The best dinosaur location in the area is The Museum at Black Hills Institute, which definitely wins the award for “most dinosaurs per square inch of a building” that I’ve ever seen. They had a ton of awesome skeletons and casts crammed into a large single room, including this gorgeous standing Stegosaurus (complete with Santa Clause hat for the season!) What a delight!
