Since there are only a very limited number of Stegosaurus skeletons in the world, I’m going to expand this quest to include some of the awesome statues and animatronics that I’ve come across along the way. This first one stands outside of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not in Grand Prairie, Texas…which was perfectly located because it gave me just enough time to get down there and back in time for the soundcheck of the NSP show in Dallas. The statue is constructed of scrap metal from old car parts and I love that someone took the time and energy to hammer this thing together. I feel like if we turn all of our un-recycleable metals and plastics into dinosaur sculptures, we can solve some major world problems.
