My summer Stegosaurus run across the US/Canadian border ended at the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller. Located an hour outside of Calgary, Drumheller prides itself as the dinosaur capital of Canada, and completely embraces its prehistoric-loving identity. The entire town is covered in giant dino statues, some over 80 feet tall, and people come from all around the world to see the magic. This museum was far and away the most lively and crowded of the ones I saw on this trip. Luckily, some fans of Game Grumps and NSP work as Paleontologists here, and were able to sneak my friends and I around the building and help us avoid foot traffic. They were also kind enough to answer all my dinosaur questions. You wouldn’t think I’d still have so many after studying these animals for so long, but I really do. The more I learn, the less I realize I know!
