North Dakota might be the part of America I’m least familiar with.  I’ve mostly lived in coastal cities, and have never done a show in the upper-center of the country…So the experience of renting a car and driving through that uncharted territory was a wild one.  About an hour from the Montana border lies Dickinson, a peaceful little town with a one-room dinosaur museum.  Good enough for me!  Their Stegosaurus skeleton was laid out flat on the display floor, which made it unique to look at and difficult to photograph!  I have a soft spot for local mini-museums, since they allow kids who don’t live anywhere near a big city to see some amazing specimens right in their backyard.  I’m sure places like this have inspired a ton of young future scientists!
